ABOUT US
-
Dog Leg Studios is a picture framing workshop in north east London, run by Marc and Tom.
We make every frame in our own studio. The mouldings are our own designs, six profiles cut, joined and finished here by hand. We use hardwood reclaimed from sustainable sources, so good timber gets used instead of wasted. Each frame is waxed or painted, and the glass, mount and backing are cut to fit the piece.
Most of what we do is bespoke. That means prints, paintings and photographs, canvases that need stretching, and the odd thing that isn’t flat. We also frame for artists and galleries.
If you’d like to see the frames in person, book a visit to the studio.

Drop us a line or come to the studio. We’ll talk through your piece and help you choose a moulding, mount and glazing. If you want something our own range doesn’t cover, such as an ornate or unusual moulding, we can source it.
Once you’ve chosen, we put the frame together, check it over and pack it carefully, ready for you to collect or for us to deliver.
We can also hang it for you. Just ask when you order and we’ll arrange a time.
